Torbay Quiz League is run by a small but perfectly-formed Committee.
We currently operate with ten teams and the season runs from October to May. Questions and interrogators are provided by the league.
Each team needs four playing members, and (preferably) a fifth person to assist with scoring and timekeeping at all games, & we play home and away fixtures, which all start at 8.30pm on Wednesday nights. The quiz comprises ten rounds - six individual general knowledge and one individual sport - plus three conferring multi-answer rounds, of which two are GK and one sport.
There's an overall league championship, and a sport competition within that, and top individual scorers are recognised at the end of the season.
After the league season, we run a handicap quiz, based on scores attained in the league competition, and then the seeded grand final is fought over by the top four league teams to round off the year.
